Lars the Dog needs a home
Lars is a very gorgeous 1yo 65lb German Shepherd who is a rare, solid blonde color! Lars gets along great with other dogs and cats! He is crate trained, mostly housebroken, and rides great in the car (never gets car sick). He is great with people he knows and trusts, but he is shy of new people and aloof of strangers (typical shepherd), and can also be protective. Due to this, he should go to an adult only home. He has a dramatic personality, but he's also a total goober and sometimes even walks like he's drunk. He likes toys and will tug a little, but doesn't fetch. He is a total velcro dog to his person (almost too velcro!) and will follow his person everywhere and needs to be touching them at all times.
Lars is currently enrolled at a training program through Unchained at San Jose Juvenile Hall. In this awesome program, he is learning basic obedience (sit, down, stay, come, loose leash walking, leave it) as well as fun tricks and other skills!
